The future Harmon Preservation Wetland project will be located at 00559 Koehn Road, St. Marys.  The entire site is just over 50 acres and will be the future home of the Barnes Creek Treatment wetlands.  Water will be pumped from Barnes Creek into 20-30 acres of constructed wetland for treatment before entering back into Grand Lake St. Marys.  Areas of the site will be planted to native grasses, forbs and trees.

The wetlands will be under construction in the summer/fall of 2027 with final project wrap-up in the spring of 2028.  A walking trail will be included on-site and opened once vegetation is well-established.
