Northshore Greenspace is located at the south end of Wright State University-Lake Campus, behind the Agriculture & Water Quality Center. It is also accessible from Lake Acres Drive. It includes four acres of wetlands and six acres of upland habitat, which were established in 2024. In 2025, an approximate 0.25-mile grass walking path will be established on-site. This path leads to the existing, paved walking path at Wright State University Lake Campus.

More About the Wetlands
Northshore Greenspace was acquired by the Grand Lake St. Marys Lake Facilities Authority in 2024 in partnership with Wright State University. Runoff from the majority of the Lake Campus along with the farm field to the north is now routed into the wetland for treatment (i.e. nutrient removal). The area serves as an outdoor laboratory for Wright State Agriculture and Science students.
The project was made possible by Clean Ohio Greenspace funding, a donation from Wright State University and H2Ohio funding through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Mercer Soil and Water Conservation District, Access Engineering, and VTF Excavation, LLC worked on this project.
